We ask that you consult the following guidelines for general format for your final report on your fellowship research. These are not hard, fixed guidelines, just preferences to give you a framework to get started on your report.
| Length: | The final report should be 5-7 single-sided pages in length. |
| Spacing: | 1-1.5 line spacing. |
| Font: | Times, Roman, or similar 10-12 point font. |
| Margins: | 1 inch. |
| Figures: | All figures should be black and white and included within the specified margins. If color figures are included, please try to make them legible with black and white reproduction if possible. |
| Title: | You do not need a separate title page; the title should appear at the top of the first page followed by the author’s name, department and institution (i.e., Physics and Astronomy Department, University of Wyoming), award type and award year (i.e., "Undergraduate Fellowship 2008"). |
| Page numbers: | Please number the pages. |
| References: | Follow the scholarly style for research papers in your field, or use the author(s) name and date of publication [i.e., "(Jones 2000)"]. |
A hard copy of the final report should be submitted along with a digital version
(can be submitted on disk or by email to wsgc(at)uwyo.edu) within 60 days of
completing the research project. The preferred program format is Adobe PDF or Microsoft
Word. The disk or email should be
labeled with the title, author, type of award (i.e., undergraduate fellowship),
and year of award.
These are possible headings and sub-headings with variations/additions in italics. Other
variations and additions to this format for the purpose of accurately reporting
on your project will be accepted.

If you have any questions about the report requirements or this report format, please contact the WY Space Grant Consortium at (307)766-2862, wsgc_(at)_uwyo.edu or come by the WY Space Grant Consortium Office, 210 and 208 Physical Science, University of Wyoming.
Award Year: the year you applied for the fellowship/grant (not necessarily the same year as the year when you are writing this report). If you applied during the competition held in February 2008 and you started working on your fellowship/grant during or after the summer of 2008, then your "award year" would be 2008 (but you are likely writing this report sometime in the first half of 2009).
