Wyoming Space Grant Speakers Series

WSGC can provide small grants in support of science, technology, engineering, and math presentations at any Wyoming college. The grants (typically a few-several hundred dollars) can be used for travel, honorarium, or other expenses related with bringing a speaker to any Wyoming college.

Applications are accepted at any time. An application consists of a short document (about 1 page - MS Word, PDF, or plain text format) including the following:

  • Sponsoring group(s) or organization(s), and contact information
  • Name and affiliation of the proposed speaker
  • Approximate date of the presentation
  • Proposed venue
  • Brief description of the proposed talk (or talk abstract)
  • Target audience for the presentation (i.e., a specialized science talk, a general public talk, combination of both, etc.)
  • A short justification (benefit) of having the speaker
  • How the talk will be publicized
  • Summary of the total anticipated budget and the amount requested from the WSGC

Email the above information to: wsgc(at)uwyo.edu

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the WSGC office.

WSGC may ask to video tape or webcast the presentation so other Wyoming colleges may also benefit.
